Movement

Movement of characters have a series of rules that are important to remember

Hero movement

A Hero character can move in several different ways. Each round, each Hero plays two Action cards, these action cards may or may not contain Move actions described. Then the move action is described as a dice is rolled to see how many spaced the Hero may move. The Hero may choose to move only a part of the rolled movement. If the rolled movement is insufficient for where the Hero want to move, the Hero may spend Stamina to move further, one Stamina per tile moved.

Move as described on Action Cards

If the move action is described as 3 for instance, no dice is rolled and the Hero moves up to three spaces, or extends that with Stamina
If the move action is described as +2 a dice is rolled and any result is +2 (so if you rolled a 1, your move is 3), as with former descriptions, this can be extended with Stamina.
Some move actions are described as X and the card has explanation what value X has.
Any spaces you did not move with the above methods are forfeited when you move to the next action.

Move outside of Action Cards

If no move action is described on your action card, or you want to move before, between or after you performed your action cards you have to spend Stamina to move. You can only perform one such move action per round. If your action cards have move actions, you can still spend Stamina to move before, between and after they are played, but only once per round.

Summon movement

Summons controlled by Heroes can not have their move action extended with Stamina and they always perform their move action before any other actions. Their movement is controlled by the Hero they summoned.

Enemy movement

Enemy movement is described on their action card and follow the same rules as Hero movement. Enemies always move towards the closest Hero first, and the fastest Hero second. Enemies never move more than they have to in order to perform any attack also described on their card (if, if they first 4 and then 3 they don't move closer than 3 spaces to the nearest Hero
