Item Cards

Items can be either purchased or found in the game. The number of items a character can carry is determined by the character Stamina

Augmentation

Augmentation are cards that can be used to alter the action of an Action Card. These usually cost additional stamina to use but can add more damage, conditions or other enhancements to an action

Effects

Effect cards may provide a permanent or temporary effect to your character, like a shield, aura or other protection and character stats.

How to use item cards

Unless otherwise stated on the card, cards are used on your round or when you are targeted with an action for which the card has an effect or augmentation. Here are some different versions of this

This card is an effect card, and if you have it on your character it is always active and counts as a permanent effect of your character. This costs you no Stamina to use and can have both a positive and negative effect. You may not choose whether you want to use the effect of the card.

This card has a Stamina symbol on it, which means you use it on your turn and spend the amount of Stamina to give you that effect. This card has symbol so it stays in play indefinitely and the Stamina you spent on it are locked to it. You may recover the Stamina by discarding the card, at which point it is lost in the current scenario.
