An important part of playing Scenarios is that it will result in items and money found on the Enemies, this is called Loot. The rules for generating loot is as follows
When an Enemy dies, it drops loot, but what loot is determined by the Enemy HP before the Attack or event that killed it. The following table is a reference. When the loot is gold, then the base amount of gold is the same as the level you are playing at. So for this example, let's assume you're playing on level 5
